Todd French is known by friends and community members alike as a warrior. For almost a decade, he has been a beloved coach for the T-Birds and other youth sports organizations in the Tri-Valley Area. He has spent his life inspiring young athletes to become winners. But for Todd, coaching has always been about giving back to the community that he so dearly loves. He has shaped thousands of boys into leaders and men. For this there are no trophies. Now, Todd faces the greatest battle of his life, lung cancer.
Now this warrior coach needs OUR help. With expensive clinical trials on the horizon and mounting medical bills, he can’t do it alone. He needs our financial support now. Let’s return just a bit of what Todd has built all around us. Let’s help him “Beat the Beast”!

I will get the ball rolling with a special thanks to all who were involved with this amazing show of just special and giving our community. It was just the end of last season when all was good for the French’s, and just how quickly our lives have changed with everything we do going forward.Thank you board members, team moms, Sandy Andrade, the Heaner family and I,m sure many more who are involved with this special ( I don’t even know what to call it !) Anyway thanks to the many T-bird families for all your support. Michele French
I happen to see the piece on KTVU last night about you – it was hard to find, but I found it. I live in the Oakland Hills and my cousin who is also a father, football coach and suffering from bladder cancer that was diagnosed a few months ago. I hope you take a moment to see a recent interview. Gregg is 39 and also has a young son. I have been working in oncology for the past 8 years, knowing all the East Bay physicians, I hope you have one of the best.
